This album may contain some fine vocal performances, but you can't be sure. After all, the contributors (Mary McLaughlin, Connie Dover, Mairéid Sullivan, and Emma Christian) have gained impressive acclaim. But there is so much studio gloss slopped on almost every track that it's hard to tell what nature created and what is masked with over-production. In the end, this is a pleasant but unaffecting collection.
